Adopt A Crop at Edwin Binney’s Community Farm and Education Centre

Help Grow Fresh Food for Our Community

By adopting a crop at the Edwin Binney Community Farm & Education Centre, you are helping provide fresh, locally grown produce to food banks, meal programs, and community organizations throughout Haliburton and Kawartha Lakes.

Since opening in 2019, the farm has grown and donated tens of thousands of pounds of fresh produce to support local food security. In 2026, we are on track to surpass 100,000 pounds of produce distributed to the community since the project began.

Every sponsorship helps cover the costs of seeds, supplies, equipment, educational programming, and farm operations, ensuring fresh food continues to reach those who need it most.

Sponsorship Opportunities

A variety of crops and sponsorship levels are available each growing season for individuals, families, businesses, and community groups.

Sponsors can choose to support a specific crop or make a general contribution to support the farm’s greatest needs.

Crop availability and sponsorship levels for the current season are to be announced.
